The course "Tooth Morphology with Dental Anthropology" provides detailed knowledge of the anatomy and function of the orofacial system, development, biology and morphology of the teeth, genetic influence on the development and hereditary changes of dental tissues and teeth. Students learn about main morphological and histological characteristics of permanent and deciduous dentition of recent humans and dentitions of other kinds of mammals. Also, students get familiar with indentification of teeth and adequate notation by using several different coding systems.
